Greg Glover

Gregory Wayne Glover (born April 13, 1969 in Dallas, Texas) is a radio disc jockey and music director for KNRK-FM in Portland, Oregon and co-founder of the Arena Rock Recording Company.

Glover grew up in Hueytown and Southside and graduated from Homewood High School in 1987. He worked for Fastix and attended the University of Alabama before graduating from the University of South Alabama in 1995 with a degree in English literature. He spent some time in Tampa, Florida publishing a fanzine entitled "The Bottom Forty."

He moved to Brooklyn, New York, hoping to land a job with Rolling Stone. Instead he spent about ten years working for London Records in A&R and publicity. He and intern Dan Ralph launched their own label in 1995, and signed the band Harvey Danger, which he later ushered to London Records. He was promoted to vice president of A&R in 1998 and left before moving to Oregon in 2004 and becoming an alternative rock DJ.

Since 2010, Glover has become, as critic J. R. Taylor called him, "a curator of Birmingham rock" by reissuing albums by Carnival Season and the Primitons.
