Herman Maurice

Herman Maurice (born 1955) is a resident of Birmingham's streets. He is known for his colorful clothes and scarves, tight bike shorts, and dreadlocks. He travels primarily by bicycle.

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Maurice has been living in Birmingham since about 1994. He often spends a portion of the day sweeping sidewalks with a broom and picking up litter.
