Herzing University (formerly Herzing Institute and Herzing College) is a regionally-accredited business and technology college with 13 campuses in the United States and Canada. The university offers bachelor and associate of science degrees through its schools of technology, business, health care and public safety, as well as diplomas and lesser certifications in several specialties. Through online coursework, the university grants three master's degrees, in management, technology management and health care management.
The school was founded in 1965 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a computer training school run by Henry and Suzanne Herzing. Later that year the Herzings acquired Birmingham's Electronics Computer Programming Institute. Since then the institute's headquarters have moved to 280 West Valley Avenue in Homewood. The president of the Homewood campus is Donald Lewis.
The school changed its name to Herzing Institute in 1970, then to Herzing College. It adopted its present name on March 2, 2009.
