Homestead Village is a shopping center between Gadsden Highway and Cahaba River tributary Pinchgut Creek in Trussville which opened in 2017. The approximately 160,000 square foot center was developed by Blackwater Resources. Original plans had to be scaled back due to environmental concerns and catch ponds were built to filter the runoff going into Pinchgut Creek and ultimately the Cahaba River.

The anchor tenant is a 55,000 square foot Hobby Lobby store, along with a 22,000 square foot Fresh Market grocery store.
