Homewood Church of Christ is located at 265 West Oxmoor Road in Homewood. It was organized in 1951 and completed its first building at 2917 Central Avenue in 1955. By 1975 that building was sold and a new facility opened at 1721 Oxmoor Road. In 1985 that building was sold to Homewood. It became the Homewood Public Library.
