For her talent, Langley sang "Listen". With the win, she earned a $10,000 scholarship and entry into the Miss America pageant in January 2008.
Langley is the daughter of Jeff and Mailey Langley of Wadley. Her father died from a heart attack in [[1998]]. She developed her "Cardiac Care: From the Heart" pageant platform from that experience. She has helped to develop exercise programs for senior citizens at assisted living homes and also worked on developing a Girl Scout patch promoting cardio care and released a CD of songs about the heart to benefit the American Heart Association.


Langley is the daughter of Mr & Mrs Jeff Langley of Wadley. She is currently a senior communications major at Jacksonville State University and plans to promote the American Heart Association as her platform.

She won the pageant on her sixth attempt on June 9, 2007 over first runner-up Colene Burns and second runner-up Elizabeth Cochran of Chelsea.
