Jasika Nicole Pruitt (born 1980 in Birmingham) is an actress and illustrator best known for portraying Astrid Farnsworth in the Fox television series Fringe.

Pruitt graduated from Homewood High School in 1998 and studied dance, voice and theater at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. She starred opposite Bronson Pinchot in the musical "Chasing Nicolette" and made her television debut (as "Jasika Nicole") in an episode of NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" in 2005. She had small roles in film and television before landing her starring role in "Fringe" in 2008.

Nicole also produces graphic novels.
