James Dunaway, Jr is a television and radio sportscaster and commentator. He currently is the sports anchor for local CBS affiliate WIAT 42, and also hosts the Dunaway and Brown sports talk show on WSPZ-AM. He was previously the sports anchor at NBC 13 until 2007.

Dunaway took over the duties at WIAT on June 30, 2008. He replaced Herb Winches, who remains employed at WIAT in other capacities. Dunaway was also the voice of the Birmingham Thunderbolts.
