Jinsei Sushi (Japanese for "life") is a Japanese restaurant owned by Pa Ebou Houma located at 1830 29th Street South in Homewood's SoHo Square.

The restaurant was founded in 2006 by John Cassimus and Charleston Wilson. It features hot and cold dishes and sushi as well as several types of sake, wine and champagne, which are sold by the glass.

The head chef of Jinsei is Nobuhito Kadoma, a 20-year veteran of Japanese restaurants in Osaka, Los Angeles and, most recently, NOBU in Aspen, Colorado.

Plans announced in 2009 for the restaurant to move a much larger space in the Aloft Hotel Homewood fell through. Cassimus sold the business to Houma, a long-time general manager at Zoe's Kitchen, in 2018.
