Johnny Johns (born c. 1952) is the CEO of Protective Life Corporation and chair of the Birmingham Business Alliance.

Johns completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and earned a joint MBA and law degree at Harvard University. He was one of the founders of Maynard Cooper and practiced there until becoming corporate legal counsel for Sonat in 1988. He left to join Protective in 1993.

Johns and his wife, Nancy, have two children, Anna and Dixon.

Johns was appointed to the University of Alabama Board of Trustees in 2013. He was inducted into the Alabama Academy of Honor the same year.
