Johnny Johns (born c. 1952) is the CEO of Protective Life Corporation and chair of the Birmingham Business Alliance.

Johns completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and earned a joint MBA and law degree at Harvard University. He was one of the founders of Maynard Cooper and practiced their until becoming corporate legal counsel for Sonat in 1988. He left to join Protective in 1993.

Johns and his wife, Nancy, have two children, Anna and Dixon.
