This article is about the coyote. For the mental health startup, see Kaya Care.

Kaya (born April 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona) is a female coyote (Canis latrans) which is exhibited with her brother, Yuma, at the Birmingham Zoo. The pair were rescued shortly after birth and raised at the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.

They were brought to the zoo in 2015 and exhibited in an enclosure adjoining the Predator Building. They were moved off-exhibit to accommodate the arrival of two young black bears, Betulas and Sassafras, before completion of the Barbara Ingalls Shook Black Bear Trail adjacent to the Alabama Wilds area.
