Kinetic Communications is a media production and web development company located at 2017 Morris Avenue in Birmingham. It was founded in 1995 by Jay Brandrup as one of the earliest Internet consulting firms in the area. Among its clients are Alabama Power, Southern Progress, the Southeastern Conference, and the Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitor's Bureau. It also assists area non-profits with their web development needs, including Vulcan Park, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, and the Alabama Ballet.
The companies Morris Avenue offices are located in the C. S. Simmons Produce Company building, later used as Diamond Jim's restaurant and saloon.
