UAB Blazers sports mascots=

• Pink Dragon (1978)
• Beauregard T. Rooster (1979-1992): Similar to the San Diego Chicken
• Blaze the Viking (1993): A short-lived re-imagining of a Blazer.
• Blaze (1996-present): A green dragon.

Other mascots

• Trash Gordon (1992-): A costume recycling bin used to promote campus recycling programs
