The following is a list of one-of-a-kind, non-recurring events held at the Alabama Theatre.
- July 30, 1988 - World premiere of the film Verne Miller
- October 14-16, 1988 - Regional ATOS convention
- September 9, 1989 - Stars Fell on the Alabama Reunion: Presentation of the Alabama Walk of Fame
- March 13, 1993 - Garrison Keillor's American Radio Company performance; broadcast nationwide but had few audience members due to the Blizzard of 1993.
- September 13, 1997 - Birmingham premiere of Spike Lee's documentary, 4 Little Girls
