On [[July 28]], [[1979]] James Eddie Powell was stabbed during a fight in the bar and later died.  Jackie Dale Atchley was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
 
The bar closed within a year and was reopened later as "[[Joe (bar)|Joe]]".

Little Bombers Lounge was a biker bar located in the Studio Arts Building in the 1970s. The bar area extended to the second floor of the building.

On July 28, 1979 James Eddie Powell was stabbed during a fight in the bar and later died. Jackie Dale Atchley was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

The bar closed within a year and was reopened later as "Joe".
