C. Lloyd Nix is a dentist and former quarterback for Auburn University.

Nix played for Shug Jordan's Auburn Tigers from 1956 to 1958. He was the quarterback of the 1957 national championship team, and was team captain in 1958.

Nix was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 1994. In 1995, he recieved the Walter Gilbert Award. In 2008, he recieved the Auburn University Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dr Nix now resides in Decatur with his wife Sandy. The couple has two children, Denise and Natalie, and six granddaughters. He is the former president of the Morgan County Dental Association, former chairman of the Council on Ministries of Central United Methodist Church, and board member for the Alabama Institute Foundation for the Deaf and Blind. He currently serves as a director for First American Bank and Alabama National.
