This article is about the early building at 5th Avenue and 22nd Street. For the 1890s building, see Lunsford Hotel.

There were at least two buildings in Birmingham called the Lunsford Building before the Lunsford Hotel was constructed at 211-213 21st Street North in 1893.

One Lunsford Building was located on the west side of 21st Street North between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue North. In March 1885 that building hosted the first sessions of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

Another Lunsford Building was a 3-story brick commercial building located at the corner of 5th Avenue North and 22nd Street. It housed Moore & Haden's grocery store on the ground floor in the 1880s. The proprietors also operated a 20-room boarding house on the upper floors.
