The Magnolia Park Apartments (originally Willow Bend Apartments) was a 431-unit apartment complex adjoining Homewood Middle School on 25 acres at 1119 Willow Run Road, just off of Valley Avenue in Homewood. It was managed by the Engel Realty Company.

Amenities at the complex included lighted tennis courts, a swimming pool, a fitness center, day care facilities, and planned social activities. The property was completely renovated, inside and out, by the Landmark Properties Trust, the complex's Florida-based owners. Shortly afterward it and Landmark's other Birmingham properties were acquired by the Collins Group of Brooklyn, New York. That company ran into financial turmoil, causing its German lenders to request receivership for the properties.

In October 2007 a resident of the apartments was shot to death during a home invasion that also injured his roommate.

The complex went into foreclosure in 2010. The Homewood Board of Education voted to bid on the property for future expansion.

One of the complex's buildings was destroyed by fire on June 9, 2011.

The complex was razed by the Board of Education beginning in September 2012.
