The Manna Grocery & Deli (formerly Harmony Natural Foods) is a natural food store and lunch counter located at 2300 McFarland Boulevard East, across from Snow Hinton Park in Tuscaloosa.
The business was founded in the 1970s on University Boulevard by Earle and Frances Drennen (who have since divorced, but remain business partners). The present name debuted in April 1980 with a move to 15th Street. The grocery opened in its present location in 1989.
The store carries natural, organic, ehtnic and gourmet grocery items including bulk grains, natural cleaning supplies, wheat- and gluten-free products, supplements, locally-made food products, cosmetics and gifts. The deli prepares fresh prepared meals and made-to-order pizzas, sandwiches, meat-free burgers, and salads.
