Matthew Faust Kimbrell (born c. 1959 in Birmingham, died October 2010 in Birmingham) was a musician. The son of bandleader Henry Kimbrell, Matt and brother Mark graduated from Alabama School of Fine Arts. Matt was primarily a percussionist, but played bass guitar as well as other instruments. In 2001 he released a solo album, on which he played every instrument and wrote every song.
