Michael Edward Richardson (born March 18, 1983 in Birmingham) was the conceptual artist for the Birmingham Pledge mural while a student at Minor High School in 2000.

The mural's design depicts four boys, two white and two black, standing together next to the text of the Birmingham Pledge. The mural was dedicated on September 10, 2000 during Birmingham Pledge Week.
