Minor Elementary School (sometimes known as New Minor Elementary School) is an elementary school in the Birmingham Public School System that is located at 2425 Avenue S Ensley, in the Ensley Highlands neighborhood. The school, named for Ensley business leader J. W. Minor, was constructed in the 1960s as a replacement for the older, county-owned Minor School located nearby, at Pike Road and Avenue T.
Minor Elementary School was merged with Fairview Elementary School in 2001, as it moved into a newly-constructed building designed by Davis Architects.
