Motel Birmingham (now Delux Inn & Suites) is a 77-unit motel hotel located at 7905 Crestwood Boulevard (U. S. Highway 78) at its intersection with Montevallo Road.

Originally built as a 61-unit motel, owne Ervin Jackson added a 72-room addition in 1960, designed by architect Harry Hester and built by F. R. Hoar and Son. The two angled buildings enclosed a "formal gardne" court with an illuminated fountain at its center, providing secluded outdoor space for guests. Extensive landscaping, planned by H. M. Norwood further screened the motel and its parking lots from its surroundings.
