Interior of Newt's

Newt's Restaurant (or Newt's Cafe) was an eat-in and drive-in restaurant that opened in August 1940 on Montgomery Highway in Homewood. The restaurant, which was open 24 hours, featured barbecue and fried chicken.

The restaurant was designed and constructed by Hugh L. Craig.
