The North Jefferson News is a bi-weekly newspaper based in Gardendale.

Established in 1970, North Jefferson News is currently owned by Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc, a Birmingham-based company which owns newspapers, television stations, Web sites and niche publications which serve more than 150 communities throughout the United States.

North Jefferson News covers the northern part of Jefferson County, including the cities of Gardendale, Fultondale, Morris, Kimberly, Warrior and Hayden. It is published on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The paper's offices are located at 1118 Main Street
