This article is about the pioneer physician. For the attorney and plantation owner, see Peyton King.

Peyton King was a medical doctor practicing near Jonesboro between 1819 and 1833. He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and settled in Pickens County after leaving Jones Valley.
