Colonial Promenade Tannehill is a proposed retail center at the intersection of Eastern Valley Road and Pocahontas Road, at a location visible from I-459, in Bessemer. The approximately $75 million, 550,000 square-foot shopping center, will be owned by Colonial Properties Trust. The development will be annexed into Bessemer after the city provides $13.5 million in infrastructure for the development.

The development is proposed to have two main anchors, five junior anchors, a movie theatre, multiple smaller shops and six out-parcels. The market area for the development will include residents within a 30-mile radius, including customers from Tuscaloosa, Bibb and Shelby counties along with all of western Jefferson County.
