Ronaldo Merrell "Randy" Davis (born May 17, 1974) is a production supervisor at an auto plant, a former law enforcement officer, and a candidate for Mayor of Birmingham in the 2017 Birmingham municipal election.
Davis graduated from West End High School in 1993 and studied criminal justice at Northwest-Shoals Community College and Alabama A&M University, and political science at UAB. He joined the Birmingham Police Department in 1996 and moved to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in 2000.
Davis left the Sheriff's department in 2012 and currently works as production supervisor. He announced his intention to run for Mayor at a family barbecue in early 2017.
