The Colonial-style brick complex was constructed in 1938 and 1939 by the B. L. Jackson Company to designs by Washington D. C. architect Raymond Snow.

It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. The apartments are currently managed by an on-site leasing staff that also manages eleven other buildings in and around the area.
