Sam Giffin opened a franchise location at 2009 15th Avenue South near Five Points South in 1997 and later opened stores at 313 20th Street North in downtown Birmingham and in the Inverness Plaza shopping center on U.S. Highway 280.

In 2016 Giffin closed the Southside location to concentrate on the downtown shop.
