Ronald D. Mitchell is executive director of the non-profit T. R. McCoy, Inc., chair of the Birmingham Park and Recreation Board, and president of the Fairmont neighborhood association in North Birmingham.
Mitchell founded T. R. McCoy in 2001. In 2011 the non-profit bid successfully on a Housing Authority of the Birmingham District contract to operate community centers in its communities.
Mitchell was appointed to the park board in March 2008.
