Ronald Weathers (born c. 1924 - died May 28, 2009) was a sportswriter and copy editor for the Birmingham News.

Weathers graduated from Woodlawn High School and Howard College. He began working for the News in 1943 and spent 47 years with the paper before retiring in 1990. He primarily covered high school sports for his first 38 years with the newspaper before moving primarily into copy editing in the 1980s. He had a close relationship with fellow Woodlawn and Howard alumnus Bobby Bowden, who gave him exclusive stories from his coaching career.

Weathers was inducted into the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame in 1991, into the Alabama Sports Writers Hall of Fame in 1992, and the Alabama Tennis Foundation Hall of Fame in 1994. He also received a Distinguished Service Award from the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association in 2004.

Weathers died in 2009. He was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery.
