The Salvation Army Birmingham Area Command, located at 2126 11th Avenue North, near the BJCC, served as the headquarters offices and services center for the Salvation Army Birmingham Area Command.

The property was sold to the BJCC Authority in 2016 for $3.9 million as the organization opened its new Salvation Army Center of Hope campus at the former Lewis Elementary School in Druid Hills. Demolition of the building was approved in January 2018.
