Shelly Mize is an educator and former superintendent of Tarrant City Schools from 2010 until 2020.

Mize received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and her Master of Arts and Doctorate of Education degrees from Samford University. She was first runner-up for Superintendent of the Year in Alabama in 2014.
