The Shoe Factory Skate Slab is an unsanctioned skateboarding park located at the former Shoe Corp. warehouse at 1415 1st Avenue South. The warehouse burned to the ground on June 8, 2006. In 2009, after the rubble was cleared away, local skateboarders began adding skate-park elements on the remaining slab.
