The Singer Building (originally the Garrett Building) is located at 2008 2nd Avenue North. The Singer Sewing Machine Company purchased the left half of the building in the 1920s and hired Warren, Knight & Davis to transform the facade in a limestone-clad Renaissance Revival style featuring a large Palladian window and balustraded parapet.

The right half of the building was demolished for a branch of the Guaranty Savings and Loan in 1971.

Recently, the building has housed the offices of the Plaintiff's Liaison Counsel.
