Small Stages is a volunteer organization that organizes and promotes house concerts by traveling musicians. The group was founded by Keith Harrelson (founder of the Moonlight Music Cafe) with David Bernard, Joni Barnett and Steve Norris. Harrelson and Bernard had previously been involved in the Small Stage Music Connection of the 1990s. The group incorporated as a non-profit in March 2007 and is an affiliate of the North American Folk Music & Dance Alliance
