Tabernacle Baptist Church is located at 600 Center Street North in Graymont. It was founded in 1886 and previously located at 1013 25th Street North on Birmingham's Northside.

Because of its role in the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights, it was recognized as a "movement church" by the Birmingham Historical Society.

Tabernacle is a member of District 1 of the Mt Pilgrim Baptist District Association.
