Dry Creek

  • Google maps calls the creek "Beaver Creek". Usually there's not much documentation on smaller creeks, but maybe someone has the scoop. --Dystopos 07:01, 4 January 2014 (PST)

Bicentennial

  • Do you know what year the park was renamed to "Pinson Bicentennial Park"? Was it to celebrate the Pinson bicentennial or for some other reason? There's a new Bicentennial disambiguation page that I created last year that you could add this to if you think it's appropriate. Robert Matthews (talk) 09:27, 10 December 2020 (PST)
    • Per a 2016 Birmingham News article, it was named for the 200th anniversary of the founding of Pinson. Technically it was never officially named "Pinson Park", it was just a stub when they announced the new unnamed park in 2014. I'll update our article with info from what I just found. I did a search of Trussville Tribune articles and didn't see one this morning that explained the name. --Wheresdib (talk) 10:15, 10 December 2020 (PST)
    • Article is updated. Here's what I found, it's not much. I haven't been able to link "1815" to Pinson's founding but I'll keep looking. --Wheresdib (talk) 10:23, 10 December 2020 (PST)
