Holland Trail

Although the road is labeled "Holland Trail" on Google Maps, I can find only one reference to it by that name in a Google search and the street signs in Google Street View all say some variation of "Old Hwy 31". --Lkseitz (talk) 19:04, 29 November 2021 (PST)

Railroad

Can anyone tell me who owns the railroad track that parellels 263? --Lkseitz (talk) 19:04, 29 November 2021 (PST)

History

I couldn't get the UA's Historial Maps of Alabama to work, but from what I found elsewhere, I believe Highway 31 was rerouted in the 1950s. The Interstate 65 in Alabama Wikipedia page says "On May 25, 1961, ... a 6 miles segment [of I-65] between Calera and Alabaster ... opened." I think a 1940's map at Old Maps Online shows Highway 31 still using this as part of the route. So between the two, the 1950s would make sense, but since I don't have certainty, I left it more general in the article. --Lkseitz (talk) 19:04, 29 November 2021 (PST)
