Taproot Cafe is a restaurant opened by Reggie and Michelle Torbor in April 2021 at the Shoppes at Hwy 150 Crossings. Michelle's brother, Eric Myers, manages the business.

The cafe specializes in simple sandwiches, salads and smoothies which feature locally-sourced produce from Hamm Farms, Smitherman Farms, and Ireland Farms, bread from Birmingham Breadworks, salsa and hummus from Venitos, and honey from the the Eastaboga Bee Co.
