Taylor Hollingsworth is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Birmingham. He started playing at 14 and has honed his skills watching other local guitarists and listening to classic rock. His playing is often compared to Izzy Stradlin, Johnny Thunders or Keith Richards, and his music to the great garage bands of the punk era, The Stooges or Dinosaur, Jr. He is currently touring as a solo act with backing band the Spider Eaters (or is it the Tragic City Rhythm Section?). He has recorded for Skybucket Records and is currently on Atlanta's Brash label.

Hollingsworth has played with several local bands, including Verbena, Cutgrass, Flair and the Dexateens. His own band, has gone through numerous name and personnel changes as well (the Silverpops and the Pink Puffs and variations of those). Members have included bassists John Seay and Macey Taylor and drummers Blake Williamson, [{Christ Zieler]], Brian Gosdin and Les Nuby.

Taylor's trip to the 2006 South by Southwest festival in Austin is the subject of an independent documentary film by Andy King.
