Barrington on the Green is an apartment complex off Lorna Road in Hoover, just north of the Cahaba River. Although the complex is south of Chace Lake Villas, Summer Place Parkway, the road leading to the complex, meets Lorna Road north of the villas.

The complex consists of 15 apartment buildings containing 342 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments, plus the office and garages, sitting on 28 acres. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, basketball court, and lighted tennis court.

In February 2003, Double Ridge Ventures of Georgia sold the property to Steven D. Bell & Co. of Greensboro, North Carolina for $19.4 million. Bell also acquired the adjacent Chace Lake Villas around the same time. In April 2012, DRA Advisors of New York sold the complex to Somerset Partners of Memphis for $28.5 million.
