Dystopos first became involved in online encyclopedias on April 19, 2000 with a series of contributions to the "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" website created by British author Douglas Adams a year earlier. He created an account on the English language Wikipedia on September 1, 2004. In part out of frustration with the community-imposed limitations of Wikipedia, he founded this site on March 15, 2006.
