The V... The Statue is the official costumed mascot for the Vulcan Park and Museum.

Inspired by the Birmingham YMCA's "Y Guy", the gray plush figure was introduced to the Birmingham City Council on January 15, 2008. The new mascot will promote park activities and Birmingham tourism, as well as assist with the park's educational outreach activities. Programs incorporating him are under development.

A contest was held to name the statue. Birmingham resident Jamie Adcock was named the winner for his suggestion of "V... The Statue" in March 2008. The phrasing was derived from popular car decals supporting President George W. Bush.

In 2021 V was re-introduced as half of the Vulcan and Vesta mascots for the 2022 World Games.
