Vestavia Church of God was a Pentecostal Christian church located at 2575 Columbiana Road in Vestavia Hills. It was organized in May 1969 with 31 charter members led by Joe Edwards, and was affiliated with the Church of God movement, headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee.

The congregation merged with the Riverchase Church of God in 1981, accepting its pastor, Raymond Culpepper, as head of the combined church. The newly-named Metropolitan Church of God continued to use the building on Columbiana Road until moving to a new 32-acre campus off Old Rocky Ridge Road near I-459 in 1999.
