WSMQ-AM (AM 1450) was a 1,000-watt radio station operated by Bessemer Radio Inc.
The station and its broadcast tower, formerly used by WENN-AM, is located at 3300 Jaybird Road between I-20/59 and Bessemer Super Highway between Bessemer and Brighton (map).
The station now operates as WZGX-AM, one of three stations making up the "La 10 Q" network of Regional Mexican music stations.
