Birmingham Iron Age was a weekly newspaper published from 1874 to 1884. It was founded by Frank Duval, Charlie Roberts, and A. B. Persinger, although ownership changed hands several times early on. The first edition was published February 12, 1874. On May 1, 1884, the paper changed its name to The Weekly Iron Age.
