This article is about the former municipality. For the current Birmingham community, see West End community. For other uses, see West End (disambiguation).

West End is a former municipality located west of Birmingham.

In a January 6, 1908 referendum of county voters, residents of West End supported the Greater Birmingham proposal to merge a number of independent municipalities into Birmingham. In West End, 98 voters supported the idea and 52 were opposed. By the time the annexation took effect on January 1, 1910, Birmingham officials credited the former municipality with bringing 1,000 new residents into the city.
